Paul C. Rosenblatt, Ph.D. (Ethnographer)

Paul Rosenblatt is a psychologist and professor of family social science at the University of Minnesota where he teaches a graduate course on interviewing and qualitative reseach methods. He has publlished over 100 articles and 6 books including, Multiracial Couples: Black and White Voices, Farming Is In Our Blood: Farm Families in Economic Crisis, and The Family In Business, all based on research interviews with families. His recent book, Metaphors of Family Ssytems Theory has received high praise as a valuable text in family therapy training. Paul is the recipient of the National Council on Family Relations Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Morse-Amoco Award for excellence in teaching. His book, Multi-Racial Couples was awarded the Gustavus Myers Center Award for the Study of Human Rights in the United States. Unassuming and engaging, Paul frequently hears from people who tell him that being interviewd by him was a life-changing experience.
